This is a fully-funded, week-long fellowship at Duke University, designed for the next generation of climate change leaders. The program offers a valuable opportunity for young individuals to join a network of faith-inspired climate activists. Through expert lectures, interactive sessions, dialogues, and vocational training, participants will learn how to develop faith-based climate action projects for their communities. The curriculum is delivered by distinguished experts in religious studies, climate change, cross-cultural and interfaith relations, media, and community work.
Age: 20 to 35 years old (required) and proficient in English.
Experience: Possess relevant education, volunteer, or work experience in areas related to the fellowship’s themes (environment, religion, community leadership, etc.).
Networks: Have access to or willingness to build local networks (social, professional, religious, etc.).
FFOP will cover the costs of airfare, visa fees, accommodation, and meals for participants in the program.
Any additional expenses will not be covered.

]]>In pursuit of further international development and cross-cultural exchange, Artevelde UAS has forged a close partnership with Hoa Sen University (HSU). Located in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, HSU shares a similar commitment to providing students with opportunities for global learning and personal growth. Through this collaborative effort, both institutions aim to enrich the educational experience of their students, fostering an environment of cultural understanding and collaboration on a global scale.
Over the years, the relationship between Artevelde UAS and HSU has grown into a close-knit partnership. Since 2020, both universities have intensified their efforts to promote cooperation and development, resulting in a significantly strengthened connection between them. This enhanced collaboration has positioned both institutions as reliable hubs for Student Exchange Programs (SEP) during international study semesters.
On April 4, 2024, Artevelde UAS and HSU convened an important meeting, marking a significant milestone in expanding and reinforcing their cooperative relationship. The meeting was exceptionally successful, underscoring the mutual commitment of both universities to fostering an enriching and sustainable multinational learning environment.

Ms. Heidi, the International Relations Officer at Artevelde UAS, highlighted the longstanding strategic partnership between HSU and Artevelde UAS. She noted that the number of students engaging in exchanges between the two universities has steadily risen each year. Particularly noteworthy is the trend of Artevelde UAS students selecting HSU as their preferred exchange destination, with consistently positive feedback from previous participants highlighting the mutually beneficial nature of the partnership.
