About the Model Young Package 2024
The Model Young Package contest invites participants aged 15 and above to design innovative packaging for “Sweets in a Box.” The challenge is to create a prototype that protects, preserves and enhances the unboxing experience. This is an opportunity for students and professionals to showcase their creativity and revolutionize sweets packaging.
Begin by selecting one of the two briefings and submitting your digital prototype:
- Briefing 1: Design a sophisticated omnichannel packaging for sweets.
- Briefing 2: Create packaging for any sweets of your choice.
Who can participate in this competition?
The competition is divided into two submission categories:
- High School Students: For young talents still in secondary education.
- University Students and Designers: Open to university students and professional designers.
Submissions will be assessed by a panel of design and packaging experts, with a focus on innovation, functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics.
Finalists will be invited to an awards ceremony where the winners will be revealed. Winning designs will be featured, offering participants valuable recognition and exposure.

Who can Apply?
The Wageningen University Excellence Programme aims to build and support capacity building in excellent students who wish to study for a 2-years master’s programme in one of the graduate courses offered at the university. Applicants to the program are expected to be high performing students and must demonstrate this. The program has made available several scholarships for the academic year starting 1 September 2025.
Eligibility
In order to apply, you must full fill the following application conditions:
- To apply, you must be a national of a country outside the European Economic Area including Switzerland.
- Applicants must posses an undergraduate degree qualification or its equivalent in order to apply
- Candidates must fulfill the application conditions into an Msc program at Wageningen University & Research.
- You be applying or have applied for one of the eligible MSc programmes at Wageningen University & Research by the application deadline of March 1st, 2024.
- The application will require you to submit a reference letter from a professor, preferably of a high ranked institute to support your application.
- Applicants must have proof of excellent performance demonstrated with a high GPA.
Benefits
- You will receive a tuition fee waiver for the duration of the programme worth 24 months
- Scholarship recipients will receive a budget for one seminar in Europe covering travel, stay, registration fee for the seminar
- You will also receive a budget for participation in the reach your full potential programme
Application
- Applicants must submit their applications for admission for an MSc programme before the deadline of February 1st, 2025
- Selected applicants who secure admission will then be invited to apply for the scholarship. Once your admission is confirmed, you will receive an email with all the required guidelines and steps to follow, to complete your scholarship application
- Attend a skype interview when requested as this is part of the scholarship selection process
- Selection for the scholarship will be based on the applicants performance in his/ her previous study

]]>The Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) provides this scholarship with the aim of enhancing the international competitiveness and promoting the active exchange of international students in Japanese universities.
This scholarship is awarded to outstanding international students who are recommended by Asian Pacific University (APU). APU Graduate School has numerous scholarship opportunities available at the time of application. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must first apply to the university which will in turn select eligible candidates to recommend to the scholarship organization.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are expected to meet the following conditions for MEXT (UR) Scholarship for International Students:
- Intend to study abroad in Japan from overseas
- Be a national of a MEXT designated country
- Be born on or after April 2, 1989
- Have achieved a GPA of at least 2.30 on a 3.00 scale at their most recent university
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants for MEXT (UR) Scholarship for International Students will receive the following benefits:
- Full admission fee
- 100% of tuition (covered by the APU Tuition
Reduction Scholarship) - 144,000 JPY per month for living expenses (amount subject to change)
- Economy class air travel between the home country and APU at the beginning and end of the program
Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: Interested applicants seeking for MEXT (UR) Scholarship for International Students should follow these steps:
- Submit the APU application by November 15, 2024.
Additional documents are not required to be considered for this scholarship. - APU reviews application documents and selects outstanding candidates to recommend to MEXT.
- Applicants selected to be recommended for this scholarship are notified with their final APU application results.
- Selected applicants complete and submit additional MEXT application documents to APU.
- The final scholarship award results are decided by MEXT.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS), you must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Applicants for postgraduate programs must be under 40 years old, and applicants for postdoctoral programs must be under 45 years old.
- Academic Qualifications:
- For postgraduate scholarship applicants: A Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of 3.5/4.0 at the undergraduate level.
- For postdoctoral scholarship applicants: A CGPA of 3.5/4.0 at the master’s level or strong academic performance in the field of intended research.
- Postdoctoral Program Applicants: Selection will be based on published books, journals, referenced articles, portfolios, patents, or copyrights. MIS postdoctoral applicants should have a solid reputation and relevant expertise in their chosen field of study.
- Language Proficiency: Possession of a valid English proficiency certificate obtained within the last two years:
- IELTS: Minimum score of 6.5
- TOEFL (Internet-based): Minimum score of 92
- Health: Good health is required, and the cost of a health certificate is to be borne by the applicant.
- Research Proposal: Write an essay or proposal related to your research topic.
- Admission: You must have secured admission to a postgraduate or postdoctoral program at a university in Malaysia.
Priority Fields of Study
The priority fields for the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) include:
- Science and Engineering
- Agriculture and Fisheries
- Islamic Economics and Finance
- Information Technology
- Biotechnology
- Biosecurity and Food Safety
- Infrastructure
- Environmental Studies

Selection Criteria
Scholarship applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Outstanding academic achievements

- Proficiency in English, including strong writing, reading, and communication skills.
General Conditions for Scholarship Recipients
- Applicants must enroll in a full-time postgraduate or postdoctoral program at one of Malaysia’s universities.
- Recipients are not allowed to change their study program during the scholarship period unless approved by both the university and the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
- Applicants must follow the approved study program and adhere to the rules and regulations of the university.It is the applicant’s responsibility to obtain a visa, including completing the necessary health checks.
- If recipients fail to maintain the academic performance required by the university, their program and scholarship will be revoked.
- The scholarship is valid only for studies conducted at universities in Malaysia, meaning research must be carried out within the country.
- Scholarship recipients are not permitted to take on paid employment during the scholarship period unless approved by the university.
