[HOA SEN UNIVERSITY – RESPECTING DIVERSITY] FASHION DESIGN STUDENTS EXPLORE THE “STYLIST” PROFESSION WITH STYLIST HOANG KU

Fashion design is not just about designing clothes, but also offers many other opportunities for success. Stylist Hoang Ku – one of the most successful stylists in Vietnam – is a testament to this. He had a discussion with Hoa Sen University students to share the secrets of success in the fashion industry.

Hoang Ku is no longer an unfamiliar name in Vietnamese fashion. In 2023 alone, stylist Hoang Ku has collaborated on 3 major projects: with actress Chi Pu for her Chinese drama “Go Ahead”, with supermodel Thanh Hang for “The New Mentor”, and with singer Hoang Thuy Linh for her Vietnamese Live Concert. To achieve this success, Hoang Ku has gone through a challenging journey. During the discussion, he shared with the students his career path, from the smallest tasks to national and international awards.

Hoang Ku also mentioned that the statistics on the value of the Vietnamese fashion industry and the revenue from fashion on e-commerce platforms are increasing strongly, therefore the fashion industry is opening up many opportunities for young people.

At the workshop, MC Thai Khang also shared about other positions in the fashion industry such as garment engineer, fashion editor, fashion illustrator, fashion photographer, and the resources (people, skills, etc.) that can support students when choosing to work in this field.
