Do you like language-related programs, especially English? Are you a book lover with the desire to fill the empty spaces on your own bookshelf? Or do you simply need a certificate to apply for a scholarship?

If so, then come here, this is your opportunity!

I. INTRODUCTION TO THE CONTEST:

BOOKTALK is an annual contest organized by the Faculty of International Languages ​​and Cultures – Hoa Sen University to create opportunities for those who are passionate about books and love English to express themselves in public.

II. CONTEST SUBJECTS:

High school students Non-majors or English majors at Hoa Sen University Young people with a love for books and debate in Ho Chi Minh City.

III. CONTEST RULES

PRELIMINARY ROUND: April 24, 2023 – May 28, 2023

• Student groups can choose any book genre (English or Vietnamese) to make a video with their perspective and point of view and presented in English.
• Each group includes a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 5 members.
• The best contestants will be selected to move on to the Debate round.
• Format: Video presentation in English
• Requirements: Video must not be longer than 5 minutes
