GUIDE TO USING HOA SEN UNIVERSITY LIBRARY’S ONLINE DATABASE
Postgraduate students enrolled in programs at the Postgraduate Training Institute of Hoa Sen University have access to and can utilize the electronic library system with a rich source of resources. Students can access databases such as ProQuest Central, Credo Reference, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, Springer Link, and the Journal of Science and Technology of Vietnam.
1. General Principles for Using Online Database Resources:
– For Open Access Databases: Users can freely search and download articles, research journals, eBooks, etc., without the need for logging in..
– For Commercial Databases (Purchased Library Resources)::

– Students must log in using the Email account provided by Hoa Sen University to access this list.
– Information about accessing this database is only for use by students, faculty, and staff of Hoa Sen University and should not be shared in any form.

- Step 2: Select the Resources section ⇒ Online Databases
- Step 3: Choose the desired database for querying
3. Search for completed dissertations
To limit issues related to document copyright, the collection of completed theses and dissertations of HSU as well as the digital library can only be accessed while at Hoa Sen University (using the university’s wifi/internal network).
Students can access the digital library to read online or download under the following conditions:
1 -Use the email account provided by Hoa Sen University (with the domain @hoasen.pertoo.com or @sinhvien.hoasen.pertoo.com) to log in to the website.
Note: After the first login, wait for about 10-15 minutes and then refresh (or press F5), and you can read online or download. Subsequent logins will allow immediate access to reading and downloading ebooks without the need to wait.
2 – Ebooks available for online reading and downloading are those in collections such as COURSE OUTLINES, JOURNAL ARTICLES – BOOK EXCERPTS, GRADUATION PROJECTS – THESIS, THESIS – DISSERTATION, VIETNAMESE EBOOKS. However, due to copyright issues, some ebooks in these collections may require a request as indicated by the system when clicking on the View Online option.
4. Support for database usage:
