With the book illustration project: Amazing facts about the spinning planet by student Nguyen Huynh Bao Yen – Graphic Design major is an astronomy book for Vietnamese children. The book provides basic information about the 8 planets in the Solar System. The content of the book is written in English (with support for translating words into Vietnamese) to help children expand their vocabulary and improve their reading skills in foreign languages.

Following domestic successes, the documentary film “Foreign House” by director Nguyen Hoang Bao Anh – a final year student of Communication Technology Management has excellently won the Jogja Film Student Award (*) (Short Film). best student) at the 13th Jogja-NETPAC international film festival held in Indonesia. “Grandma’s house” is a short documentary film showing the author’s perspective on the conflict over 10 years in a small family between Grandmother and her aunt.

Hoa Sen students won the third prize at the 1st FY 2017 short film festival
In the category of best short film, the first prize went to the film Buffer Zone, directed by Dao Uyen Minh. The second prize went to the animated film Awaken by DeeDee Animation Studio. Within the framework of the 2nd FY short film festival with a national scale for young filmmakers, students of the Management of Communication Technology (IT) have participated and were honored to win the following awards:
Third Prize – Best Short Film Award for the short story film “Living Coffin” by student group Dinh Ho Bao An, Vo Cam Vy, Truong Thi Nhu Thao, Nguyen Huynh Minh Thu and Nguyen Trong Nghia.

Creation camp, Installation Art exhibition – Theme “Youth and the future of the city” organized by Ho Chi Minh City Union of Literary and Art Associations – Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association with the participation of artists Painters and students from universities in Ho Chi Minh City attended.

Vu Hoang Hiep, Vuong Vinh Phuc, Mai Hoa Dawn, Tran Nguyen Tri, Ho Vo Gia Han, Le Phuoc Anh Tuan, Le Phan Thuc Quyen, Ngo Thi Thanh Truc, Ly Phung Nghi, Bui Xuan Loc, Le Tuan Hieu, Than Thi Yen Nhi, Le Minh Truong and Le Thanh Hoang won the second best prize in Vietnam at the 48h Filmmaking contest.
