Overview of Faculty of Finance and Banking

The Faculty of Banking and Finance was officially established on April 1st, 2021, formerly known as the Department of Accounting and Finance, under the Faculty of Economics & Business (established in 1999).

The Faculty has the mission of training academic knowledge and living practice in the fields of Accounting – Auditing, Finance, Banking, Insurance, Fintech and Property with a strong Faculty’s lecturers team of Masters, PhDs and experts who have undergone advanced education from the US, UK, France, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, etc. Moreover, they have also held many key positions in banks, securities companies, auditing firms, large enterprises and are typical of many different industries in their area of ​​expertise. Therefore, the lively curriculum with solid knowledge in addition to rich and easy-to-understand practice has provided students with a solid and up-to-date professional knowledge base on the professions of Accounting, Finance, Banking, Insurance, Property, career skills, decision-making abilities, and practical experience needed to succeed in a global workplace, contributing to economic and financial growth of Vietnam and community development.

Currently, the Faculty of Banking and Finance offers students the opportunity to learn, create and develop their future careers with intensive training in the following areas:

  Accounting and auditing
  Fintech
  Banking and Finance
  Real estate

Stemming from the actual needs of businesses, the Faculty’s educational programs have been built on the basis of reference to advanced training programs from universities in developed countries. All references of the Faculty are used from foreign documents. At the end of 2015, the Faculty’s educational programs including Accounting and Finance – Banking were officially recognized by the US Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)* of the US to meet quality standards. This is also a great effort of the collective pedagogical team of Hoa Sen University to provide learners with a high-quality training program.
